WOW Warlock
What is the best way to pvp with a warlock in Wow? I do well against some classes but mages own me. Builds or pvp guides would be great.

Best Answer - Chosen by Voters The warlock felhunter damage per second (DPS) is great in pvp, mainly this would be to kill a mage because the felhunter ability of stunning casters. This way you can focus on getting off your warlock's casts without them boltin' you.

If you want a good warlock for pvp, my strongest advice is to use a crit set with a good destruction build. Warlocks can do loads of damage in combat, but you have to increase your crit rate for your warlock to stand a chance against the better classes.

Mages are better at pvp than Warlocks. I have played wow for years and have rarely been beaten by a warlock. Of course I do know other mages that get their a** kicked. Advice from someone that gets attacked by them alot, I think the warlock pet that is most valuable in pvp is the succubus because it does nice damage and has crowd control. I hate fighting locks when they break out the succubus and just laugh when they bring out the voidwalker. If you want your warlock to lose, use a voidwalker in a non pve fight.

I love Warlocks in PVP, they can own just about anything. The chain stun crap that was added to a previous wow patch for rogues really made an impact though. Anyways wow locks nightfall + Conflagration is probably the most used in pvp Nightfall has a 4% chance to proc EVERY time a Corruption or Drain Life spell ticks damage on an enemy target.

I agree, never just stand around or your warlock will die quickly. Soul link is great to use, inexperienced targets will try to run from it to break it. Experienced ones will run towards you to attack. So you should have a pretty good idea of how well they fight based on their reaction.

Warlocks are leet in pvp, you just need to learn how to use them. For starters you need to make sure you have a decent weapon equipped. Why would your lock need a melee weapon? Between spells you will be able to have auto attack enabled which will give you that extra bit of damage between casts and keeps your enemy on its feet.
Second stay mobile and turn in a circle around your target with some jumps in order to confuse them. Cast your dots first and use trinkets that have an instant cast. Warlocks simply need to stay away away from stuns etc and can own a mage if you are smart.
