Best Armor in Aion

Is there any one kind of armor in Aion that is considered to the the best? Would it be better to have sets or individual pieces from other armor sets?

The fact is armor customization changes the dynamics of this. Aion allows for heavy custom builds in the item department. Of course fully twinked noob gear is not going to be as good stock legendary gear, but there will be a lot of different specs that players use, and each will say it is the best.

I agree that Archon, specifically the squad leader set, is a great base for assassins at least. The 4% boost to pvp atk is a gem and has nice flight bonuses.

That depends, are you saying asking what the best overall armor is or best for a specific class? It also depends on how much you can afford in terms of Kina and AP.

If you can afford it, complete sets are going to give the highest stats. But since most cant, there are a few builds from mix and match sets.

Archon is teh leet! Blue pieces are also high on the list.
