quick descriptions
Jesters
are a ranged class mainly focused on the critical rate they attain at low levels. Jesters can effectively use both Yoyo's and bows. Tough they can only attain their maximum potential using their native weapons, the Yoyo.

Jesters are a 1vs1 class, altough they do have a high block rate and access to one bow aoe there are little jesters that use this method of leveling early on.

Jesters are considered a slow class to level.

Rangers
Are a ranged class mainly used to AOE, with minimal stamina, perhaps some intelligence and heaps of dexterity rangers are considered to be very effective levelers. Tough at early levels rangers might have some difficulty leveling.

Rangers are considered to be fast leveling at later levels. However they are one of the least played classes on flyff. This might find its reason in that Bow using jesters preform better in player versus player situations and 1vs1 leveling.

Billposters
Are versatile characters that can level solo as an AOE built character, tough with some difficulty and 1vs1 quite well. Billposters have low 1vs1 damage compared to other melee classes, however by improving your billposters aditional damage of critical hits this can be nullified. Billposters also have stun, a skill available to the assist tire. With this skill active billposters become strong solo levelers and giant hunters.

Billposters are considered the strongest pvp class. By focussing on strength and mana from awakened gear billposters can effectively one hit most of their enemies in the arenas using one of their knuckle skills.

Billposters will use both a stick for self buffing and a knuckle shield combination.

Ringmasters
Are a partner and support class in their essence. They focus on healing and buffing their partners, often they partner with players up to 19 levels higher and fight in dangerous areas trying to keep their partners alive and leveling fast.

Higher leveled ringmasters often restat to an aoe build or an 1vs1 build. However they rarely become as effective in fighting as their counterpart the billposter.

Ringmasters are sought after partners for gianting and some pvp situations thanks to their unique protective, healing and damage increasing skills.

Psykeepers
are magic users who use a wand and a shield for leveling. There are three main branches in the Psykeeper line. At fairly low level psykeepers gain the skill Crucio, reflecting 200% damage back to the asailant. This is often used by full stamina psykeepers to kill single mobs much higher then themselves.

On higher levels this type of psykeeper often changes into an aoe psykeeper. Psykeepers have two AOE's. However since one of them has a cooldown, psykeepers rely on the other; Maximum crisis.

Much rarer are the 1vs1 psykeepers, often called satanology. Satanology is a spell that roots their opponent. And its duration is based on intelligence. 1vs1 level slow, but their damage in pvp is considerably high.

Elementors
are characters that harness the power of elements to deal high and large range area of effect spells.

Often these characters will define themselves as a tanking elementalist or a Hit and run elementalist, wich is gaining alot in popularity.

Hit and run elementalists usualy rely on a very high intelligence build and use the side effect of their Windfield spell to stay alive. Hit and run elementalists often level at monsters much higher then themselves

Tanking elementalists use their elements more effectively. They have a higher stamina build that allows them to take some hits.

Blades

are fast 1vs1 killers, who are mainly equipment based, blades are a very popular type of character due to its extreme possibilities. Blades are seen as one of the strongest classes in the game at higher levels.

Equipment wise a blade is the only class that can use both a shield or a weapon in its off-hand slot.

Blades can reach a high critical percentage with a high attack speed and have tons of aditional critical damage from their end game equipment.

Blades also have an aoe form. Tough AOE blades are less effective then most other typical AOE classes they are seen quite frequently since it is a faster way of leveling.

Blades are generally strong when it comes to PVP
They are also very strong giant hunters and can take boss monsters on quite easily

Knights
Are generally an AOE class, with strong set and weapon bonusses geared towards defence they can be a very potent tank.

Knights can use two handed weapons, they are required for their knight skills.

Knights usualy get themselves a job in siege to slow down their opponents using sneaker, while blades also have this skill, not many players will consider attacking you, the meatball in the arena.

Knights are potent 1vs1 characters, tough without proper gear they are easily outshined by most other classes in melee fights.

Hope to see you in flyff!
