Zu Online: Sun Warriors’ PvP Tips Zu Online is a game filled with intense PvP fights. Whilst playing, players sometimes have to fight against other hostile players, which of course happens more often after they hit higher levels. Even large-scale guild wars or faction wars often occur in the game. Sun Warriors, as the only tanking class of Zu Online, often play the most important roles in these battles.
However, when they are involved in a 1vs1 combat, Sun Warriors aren’t as strong as they are in large-scale battles. So, now I would like to talk about some fighting tips for Sun Warriors’ 1vs1 fights.
For these tips I am assuming that both sides are of nearly equal levels and that all of their equipped items are of nearly the same power level. Sun Warrior vs. Sun Warrior A Sun Warrior will find it very difficult to defeat another Sun Warrior unless he is of a much higher level and (or) equipped with better equipment than the opponent. When fighting another Sun Warrior, he will need to switch trinkets and often cast beneficial spells.
Sun Warrior vs. Swordsman As the best damage dealer in Zu Online, a Swordsman can kill a Sun Warrior with just 2 hits or even 1 hit. But, a Sun Warrior can also kill a Swordsman in just 2 hits too.
While fighting against a Sun Warrior, the Swordsman often uses a wine trinket and then casts Frost Shot/Flame Shot/Thunder Shot to attack. If the Swordsman has not yet killed the Sun Warrior when the beneficial spell given by the wine trinket has faded then he must run away. What should a Sun Warrior do when he is fighting against a Swordsman? First of all, upon seeing the Swordsman use a wine trinket, the Sun Warrior should cast the “Buddhist's Armor” spell, which can reflect 20% of the damage. If the Swordsman attacks the Sun Warrior while the buff of Buddhist's Armor is working, he would take much of the damage himself. So, often the Swordsman can only kill time until the buff has faded. Usually, the Swordsman can cast the “Blow’ spell to get out of the Sun Warrior’s attack range. Then the Sun Warrior must cast sprint effect to run after the Swordsman. When catching up with the Swordsman, the Sun Warrior should cast a spell to reduce the Swordsman’s movement and also cast the “Demonslaying” spell to raise his attack power. Then, the Sun Warrior should quickly cast direct damage dealing spells to attack the Sun Warrior.
In addition, whilst fighting a Swordsman, the Sun Warrior had better be equipped with the umbrella trinket. The Swordsmen’s wine trinket does not work in front of Sun Warriors so they should use a Soul Mirror to get a buff, which can also raise the Swordsman’s defense. But the umbrella trinket can remove the buff given by the Soul Mirror.
Sun Warrior vs. Moonmaiden While a Sun Warrior is fighting a Moonmaiden, both must run around again and again. Whilst fighting a Moonmaiden, the Sun Warrior must have the Soul Mirror equipped and use it once it has cooled down. While fighting a Sun Warrior, the Moonmaiden has no strategy except to keep casting Stone Trap to stun the Sun Warrior and then quickly attack. If the Sun Warrior has not yet been killed before the stun fades, the Moonmaiden must vanish and run away. Then, the Sun Warrior should use something to restore his health and then run after the Moonmaiden. Often, the above details must be repeated many times until one of the parties succumbs and dies.
Sun Warrior vs. Summoner Summoners must be the toughest opponents for the Sun Warriors to deal with. When fighting a Summoner, the Sun Warrior must cast the sprint effect and reduce the Summoner’s movement, and then quickly cast direct damage dealing spells to attack the Summoner. Sun Warrior vs. Bead Fairy It’s quite easy for a Sun Warrior to defeat a Bead Fairy once he gets close enough o her.
More and more new challenges will be added to the game. Therefore, the PvP tips are constantly evolving. But one constant is the important role that Sun Warriors will always play in Zu Online.
