War Rock Adds New Content / Map The MMOFPS War Rock is getting a new map deemed the "Skill Pointer" and will feature 3 new vehicles for players. In addition to the Skill Pointer Map, players will be able to get an added XP Bonus of 25% experience over the weekend. (http://warrock.gamersfirst.com/index.php) "We're excited to release this new update to War Rock" said Chuck Leonard, Assistant Producer, GamersFirst. "The community has asked us for a massive scale player battlefield and I believe we have delivered that request with Skill Pointer".
There are a number of changes in this update but the Skill Pointer map is by far the most valuable of them. Skill Pointer is a Conquest Mode map mainly geared toward vehicle combat. Players that get into a combat vehicle will gain a 10 second invulnerability when fighting to take hold of the neutral base and protect their own base.
The 3 new vehicles in Skill Pointer are: M109, Japan 90 (J90) and M1A2. J90 features modular ceramic and steel composite armor. It is equipped with a 120 mm smoothbore cannon, the J90 is a heavy hitter. M1A2 is loaded up with a 7.62 mm machine gun and a 120 mm M256 smoothbore cannon. Both, model J90 and M1A2, will only be available on the Skill Pointer map.
