The new 1.6 patch for Tabul Rasa has gone live today, aside from a few bugs that still needed to be worked out the patch as a whole is stable, with a smaller bug fix patch set to be released very soon.  The Tabula Rasa patch includes updated skill casting times with reduced casting for Rage, Scourge, Self Destruct, Sacrifice, Scatter Bombs, Carpet Bombing, Crab Mines, and Shredder Ammo.  Sacrifice and Shredder ammo recieved the largest reductions in casting times.  The patch includes an Experience Booster which is purchasable at every Control Point with the new Global CP Tokens that add 50% more xp for 30 minutes.  There were several other nice improvements and fixes...

Players now earn 50% more experience for killing the creatures inside of operations.  The UI got some attention with added information being displayed such as Kill Streak and Group Bonuses.  Torqueshell Rifles no longer require prefire charging, recoil has also been added that causes the cross hairs to move after firing (which is kind of annoying but gets points for being more realistic).  For players that are in trouble and need to quickly reload their weapon, you can now be interupted which is typical in most mmorpgs but is a nice feature for FPS types and gives an added strategy to PvP (although we have yet to test how we can use reload interuption during PvP battles in Tabula Rasa).

For players that are used to the clickable chat features of other mmorpgs, you will be happy to hear that when you left click a Tabula Rasa player's name in chat you will get a pull down menu that will allow you to whisper, invite to squad, invite to clan, or ignore the player you click.  As far as bug fixes, the dev team made sure to spend some time on fixing the little things that will make Tabula Rasa game-play more enjoyable.  They removed the annoying pause from Auto-fire of some weapons, fixed a bug that awarded pre-order items as certain mission rewards, fixed an issue where low graphics settings can cause avatars to fail to render, and many other (about 100) other fixes to known bugs.  Tabula Rasa patch 1.6 definately lived up to the expectations.

For the complete list of updates check out the patch notes.
