SOE Fan Fair 2008 Preparation Tips...For Fun

SOE has announced Fan Fair 2008, and SOE is promising the best Fan Fair Event yet. Interested players should head over to the official SOE site and get all the details. To assist those that have not yet experienced this Event, make sure to go through the official preparation tips. However, we put together some of our own helpful preparation tips to make sure you get the most out of Fan Fair 2008 (and give you a little humor at the same time). Fan Fair 2008 will be a blast so we want to make sure everyone is fully prepared.

SOE Fan Fair Preparation Tips

Tip - SWG Players: Do NOT attempt to bring your Lightsaber on the plane.

Tip - Make sure to pack some business casual clothes…leave your t-shirt at home that says “I killed over 1,000 players”

Tip - Bring real money, as game credits will not get you far in Vegas

Tip - Come with lots of friends and family. If you can’t, then bring a hat that says “LFG”

Tip – Resist the urge to walk into the Hilton with your role-playing mask on as you will surely draw police agro.

Tip – Call Hilton to book your reservation in advance, as setting up a shop in-game titled “WTB Fan Fair Tickets” will make you look like a noob.

Tip – For laughs, all The Agency players that are asked by unawares tourists “Why are you here?” should reply by whispering... for “The Agency” (making sure to do “quote signs” with your fingers) then just look at them blankly.

Tip – Pack business cards with your REAL name on them, because HR will not want to hire a “KillForFun”.

Tip – Bring your laptop so when you are in-game you can make other players jealous that you are at a real party.

Tip – Remember that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas…and the forums…and teamspeak.
