Elf Classes: Wardens and Druids Brought To Runes of Magic

Runes of Magic is bringing in the Elves, two of them, which is part of "The Elven Prophecy" Chapter of Runes.  The new classes will be playable in September when the update goes live.   The new classes are based on a close relationship with nature elements so when properly used they can channel more abilities for successful combat.  The "Warden Elf" which is a mele style DPS combat class features the power of nature spirits and can connect with the woodland plants which will strengthen them with the power of the forest. By fighting alongside a friend of plant origin the Warden Elf will gain more power to fully benefit from its abilities. When combined with the intended companion, the Warden is highly adaptable in the most diverse of combat situations.  One of their cool features is the ability to cast Thorny Vines around enemies for a damage over time effect.

If mele combat is not your thing, then the upcoming Druid Elf will pry fit the bill for you as they have the ability to both engage in ranged combat as well as heal.  The Druids are very close in abilities to the Human Mage but they channel "Natures Power" to obtain special abilities that allows them to play the role of Support, healer, and combat.  By adding a Druid to your group you will be able to increase the total speed of attack which will be a nice improvement to your XP grind.

Each of the new class of Elf will feature a well rounded, multitude of skills and abilities that will make them highly desired in group combat situations.  Since each class relies heavily on other party members' origins, strategic thought must go into picking a particular combat group.  These two new classes will be a welcome addition to the game that has already skyrocketed in popularity.

Please find further information about the two new classes on our official website: http://www.runesofmagic.com/en/newclasses.html.
