IGG Making Rounds
Internet Gaming Gate is a new online game developer company that has its roots in the United States of America. They specialize in the field of mmorpg titles since they are getting hugely popular with people around the world. Although IGG is a new company, it has found tremendous success in the field of mmo gaming. In fact in a very short span of time, the IGG has been able to create, produce and release some of the most avidly games played online. In this article we discuss the games that have been created and launched by the IGG.
The very first game that was launched by the IGG was Myth War Online. It was a very conventional two-dimensional mmorpg in which players took turns to attack each other. The game includes different teams which are in fact different species. They include humans, mages, borgs and centaurs. The best feature of this game was it’s free online game play. However, players had an option of paying for specific in-game items. This game launched IGG into the massive world of online gaming.
After the moderate success of the first game, the IGG decided to go ahead with their vision and made a very thoroughly researched mmorpg named Voyage Century Online. This game’s prime feature was its career orientation. Player had to choose to specialize in one particular skill, then trade for resources and do many quests to pass through the various stages of the game. The game had a historical touch to it because it included ships, merchants, high princes and traders.
Additionally, Tales of Pirates which was also free to play online. It was also a mmorpg that was based on the lives and adventures of the pirates during the wild times. It provided a very exciting and adventurous plotline and had players hooked on to it for long hours. GodsWar Online featured a heavy dose of combat game play while the most recent Zu Online featured game play based on Chinese heritage and traditions.
In the crowded mass of mmorpg titles, there are only a handful of devolpers that are able to put out as many games as IGG has, and so far they have reached a respectable level of success. We expect only more titles to added to their collection over the next few years.
