Realm VS Realm Combat Creates New Dynamic In MMORPG Neosteam
Neosteam: The Shattered Continent is getting a big change that will have a significant impact on the overall dynamics of the game. The new Realm VS Realm system allows large-scale pvp wars that pit guild against guild in a base taking style tournament requiring good combat strategy. RvR success will depend on players successfully coordinating siege cannons, gun turrets, and other siege tools to protect their own guild base while attacking and gaining control of enemy bases.
"Neo Steam is taking steampunk to never-before-seen levels with realm versus realm play," says Tyler Kim, Director of the Online Division, Atlus U.S.A., Inc. "Including RvR in the game not only reiterates Atlus Online's emphasis on including the entire community but also establishes Neo Steam as more than just another MMORPG."
The new Realm VS Realm content is primarily geared toward level 50 and above, and will allow players to access special weapons, dungeons, and missions. Participating in the RvR system will return rewards of prestige for player and guild rankings (everyone loves prestige).
