Regnum online is a MMORPG that wants you to play it. It is a completely free game that has no restrictions to it whatsoever. So you can play for as long and as much as you wish. If you run a Linux based computer and you want a good MMORPG to play on it then here it is. It can be played on both Windows and also Linux platforms.
When you have picked your character and your faction then you can get on and start to play the game. The one thing we thought the game lacked was the inability to use health and mana points. When you are hit or injured, you have to rest instead. This can create a slow point in the game while your health gets back up to full.
The game focuses on three major realms. All three of these realms are at war with each other. You have to be a high level to actually be able to fight and defend for your chosen realm. When you do get to that point you will be able to defend your castles and forts like you did with your toy soldiers!
The graphics are gorgeous for a free MMORPG and they rival any of the others out on the market, but if we were going to pick at every little detail and not surprisingly we will… The water effects do need some further work.
Other than that the graphics are outstanding. Another thing we found as a downside to Regnum online is that you may be hard pushed to find an English speaking person on the game for some time. Sure, you may come across a few, but the game is mostly Spanish based.
The game does have it pitfalls as well as its outstanding advantages. The best piece of advice we can give you is to go and try it and see what you think for yourself.
