NHN's gaming portal, ijji.com, is preparing a major global campaign to reach the world's gaming community. With a substantial user-base of 8 million-strong, ijji.com is kicking off the new campaign with its overseas journey to Games Convention Online in Leipzig, Germany from July 31 - Aug. 2, 2009.  The agenda includes showcasing its mix of highly anticipated upcoming titles Huxley: The Dystopia and Karma: Operation Barbarossa.  GCO patrons will get an exclusive look to see the current, and new titles in a competitive team tournament setting.

"As an overseas subsidiary, we understand better than most the need and benefit of expanding our attention globally," said Philip Yun, CEO, NHN USA, which hosts ijji.com. "Our position as the leading provider of hardcore gaming content puts us in a good situation for international expansion.  It will allow us to serve our community even better and expand to include new ijji.com fans."
 
ijji.com intends to start its expansion by offering many of its titles in translated version which include German and Spanish.  During this weeks Games Convention Online, players that stop by the ijji booth can take a close look at its new titles and participate in the intense tournament play for these titles specifically:

♦        Huxley: The Dystopia http://huxley.ijji.com/, (one of our favorites) which was developed on the Unreal Engine 3 adds a mix of twitch-based fast-action game play of a first-person shooter (FPS) with the cerebral character development and persistent city of a massively multi-player online game (MMOG)

♦         KARMA: Operation Barbarossa http://www.ijji.com/ , a multi-player online first-person shooter (MOFPS) with an alternate World War II storyline

♦         Soldier Front http://sfront.ijji.com/, (already very successfull) the modern military MOFPS game, currently available on ijji.com, that requires the distinctive task force strategies found in today's combat
