Secret of the Goblin Mine Headed For Runes of Magic

Frogster is getting ready bring a pretty large update patch to Runes of Magic, coined ‘Secret of the Goblin Mine.’ This patch introduces the ‘Goblin Mine,’ a new mini-game that players can enjoy. In addition to the Goblin Mine, there will be a new weapon quest series being added to the game. The new patch should be hitting the servers to bring ‘Secret of the Goblin Mine’ live on July 28th.

The ‘Goblin Mine’ is a solo journey sends the player into a cave of nasty green creatures, as well as some interesting elemental beings. Runes of Magic players have 30 minutes that they to complete 3 tasks within the dungeon. You only get 1 attempt each day to do it, and if you die you cannot redo it until the next day. Players that complete the Gold Mine will get rare armor recipes and handcrafted objects from inside the treasure chests located at the end of the dungeon. If getting titles is your thing, there will be two new ones if you can complete it ‘Goblin Hero’ is one of them.

In addition to the ‘Secret of the Goblin Mine’ update, there will be an epic weapon quest series that you can do. The things you must complete will be some of the toughest challenges of Runes of Magic, so it should be fun to see how well players adapt to the new quests. Since you will be battling the most challenging mobs of Runes of Magic it is fitting that you will be able to receive legendary weapons if you are victorious.

As a compliment to the Secret of the Goblin Mine update, players will now be able to raise plants from within their homes that require care in order to grow. Just like real plants, if you don't take after them, they will die. If you can do a good job with the harvest system though, you will be able to receive ore and wood, and more.
