Galaxy Online: Updates with New FeaturesGalaxy Online (http://go.igg.com) has been updated to the latest version 1.0.022. Apart from the weekly bug repairs, the update also added two important new features into the game, Shipbuilding and Home Expansion Systems that were based on user feedback. Here is the Overview of the new features.
1. Average Shipbuilding Function
We looked through all players' feedback and decided to introduce this new function based on their suggestions. It will simplify the previously haphazard construction process, and enable shipyards in a galaxy to build ships based in a coordinated manner.
For example, if you've occupied 10 planets in a galaxy and each of them has at least 1 completed shipyard, use the Average Shipbuilding function and each of them will help build 10 ships for a total of 100 ships. To use the Average Shipbuilding function, simply click on a planet with a completed shipyard, then click the "Shipbuilding" button. Last, click the "Average Shipbuilding" button to the right side of the blueprint of the ship you want to build.
2. Home Expansion
Considering it is always very difficult for beginners to develop in Galaxy Online as there are only scattered and small number of planets left for the late comers to colonize, the team designs this new function. With the release of the Home Expansion, the problem of severe land limitation is set to settle. Now, players will be able to add planets to their Home though Planet Generator and then colonize them. However, these generated planets will count towards the colony limit. In other words, the max number of planets that each player can occupy will still be 20 excluding the 5 system planets (Homeland 1-5). With the Home Expansion function, players will have more flexibility in arranging their colonies. Homeland planets are safer and faster to transport to the battle front, while the galactic ones are likely to have more building slots and high resource yields.
