New Mini-game Dungeon Featured In Course of Terror As the official launch of Runes of Magic's Chapter II 'Elven Prophecy' nears, we have learned of some of the details surrounding the new mini-game challenge that will be included in the feature list. Once each day, The Clown Malatina will allow players to enter a solo-style dungeon that when cleared will return multiple rewards. In order to complete the challenge you will need to multiple obstacles such as destroying ice barricades with an artilary cannon. The mini-game will be added to the game in the final content update along with the full launch of ‘Chapter II – The Elven Prophecy’, on 15 September.
The dungeon contains of a chamber of 45 fields that have various obstacles housed behind seals. Each challenge requires a special tactic that makes the player use the correct tools for the task, each task takes approximately 10 minutes. Durring the challenge you can face clown ghosts which constantly appear in order to add additional complications to your efforts. After players discover the field containing the key, they will receive rewards and an entry into the next round. You can also earn special titles by using ‘ghost cards’ to unlock them.
In addition to the new mini-game dungeon, Runes of Magic will be adding even more solo challenges for players “We like to always look for ways to keep our players entertained and offer them plenty of variety,” commented PR Manager Philipp Senkbeil. “MMO players don’t always want to be in groups and mini-games are a perfect change from the routine of raids.”
