Small Indie Studio Getting Ready For The Big ShowThere are countless online multiplayer games that have had millions of dollars pumped into their development which mostly pay for large teams of personnel to design and complete a game only to have the end result a total failure. That's not the case for the small 3 man studio that has spent the last 2 years designing and polishing the online multiplayer kart racer 'Zero Gear'. With a limited buget, but a talented crew, NimbleBit Studios decided to get back to the basics and make a game that is just simple, lightharted fun. They appear to be very close to achieving that goal as they prepare to take the game into its beta stages. You can check out the video here With lots of customization and entertaining tracks, anyone that loves a good racer will be impressed with the overall game direction of Zero Gear and its well done graphics. The game appears to still need some work on the networking in order to reduce the latency that players have experienced but of course thats the point of the tests. So far NimbleBit has made continued progress on working out the bugs of the game, especially the lag/latency. Registrations are being accepted over at their official site, so if you feel like taking your turn duking it out with other players on the track visit http://myzerogear.com/beta/invite.php.
